Narela. On Sunday a grand ceremony was held in the Comfort Zone to commemorate the birth anniversary of martyr Bhagat Singh. The event’s organizer Dheeran Maan shared that hundreds of tractors and vehicles formed a rally from Village Naya baans this through Holambi Kalan, Holambi Khurd, Metro Vihar, Bankner, and Narela Main Market to the Comfort Zone. Village heads from all areas of Narela Assembly along with leaders of social and religious organizations women and youth were present.

Dheeran Maan provided detailed information about the event stating that alongside the mothers and sisters as well as elders he performed a Havan at 10 AM. After the Havan a cultural program featuring Ragini was held with renowned artists Saurabh Ji Vikas Pahasaur Pawan Badwashni Ji and Sangeeta Jangra Ji who paid tribute to the martyrs through their singing.

While addressing the gathering Dheeran Maan remembered the sacrifices of martyr Bhagat Singh and pledged in front of the assembly “Today I take a vow before all of you as witnesses in front of the statue of Bhagat Singh to illuminate the Narela Assembly area.” He noted that there are many places in Narela Assembly that suffer from darkness causing inconvenience to mothers sisters and elders. Therefore it has been decided that 5000 lights will be installed across the assembly by Diwali. The order has already been placed so you can be assured that we will no longer endure darkness for long.

I want the residents of Narela to feel secure whenever they step out of their homes.
